Are you looking for a job? IS2 has an amazing opportunity for you. We are hiring a Jr. Electrical Project Coordinator in Guelph starting immediately!

As a project coordinator your focus will be assisting management of various Electrical jobs ranging from low to high value in the construction industry. Ideal candidate would carry some electrical project experience or just out-of-school with a relevant college diploma in electrical systems or comparable field.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings and specifications including preparing take-offs.
• Help track suppliers and subcontractors.
• Help track supplies and materials required for each job.
• Assist in preparing and submitting Shop Drawings, O&M manuals and Record Drawings as required.
• Report and work closely with the project manager.
• Assist in ESA applications.
• Obtain vendor and subcontractor pricing per specifications and drawings.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders as requested.
• Maintaining and updating PCN Logs and Tracking forms.
• Any other tasks assigned by the managers.

Qualifications

• 1–2-year diploma in a program with electrical as a core focus preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding / ability to use AutoCAD considered an asset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Etc.)
• Excellent organizational & communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and electrical drawings.
• Ability to navigate and comprehend bid websites.
• Knowledge of electrical systems preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Valid G Drivers License
• Ability to speak and understand English required.

Experience

• 0-2 years of experience preferred.
• Previous work experience and/or field experience not required.

Schedule / Location

• On-site – Guelph, ON
• Monday- Friday 7:30-4:00pm
• Salary: $45k-$52k
• Start date: Asap
