Responsibilities will include:

• Operate Finishing Equipment: Assist in operating the Tail Flatline Finishing Machine and Sanding Machine to prepare parts for final processing.
• Stacking Parts: Safely stack and organize parts on finger racks for the finishing and drying process.
• Quality Control: Inspect parts for quality, ensuring they meet company standards before moving forward in the production process.
• Sanding: Perform light primer/sealer sanding and topcoat sanding to prepare parts for finishing or ensure smooth surfaces.
• General Maintenance: Ensure all finishing tools and machines are maintained in good working order and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in woodworking, millwright or finishing role is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Ability to operate finishing equipment (training provided), basic understanding of sanding techniques, attention to detail, and a focus on quality.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move parts of varying sizes, stand for extended periods, and handle repetitive tasks. Up to 50lbs
• Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment: Ability to work in a temporary capacity with the potential for a full-time position based on performance.

Shift Details:

• Day Shift: 7:00AM – 4:00PM
• Monday – Friday
• Pay rate: $20/hr
