Are you looking for a career in the dairy industry? Oxford Milkway is hiring an AZ Driver for local and rural milk pick-up and delivery across Oxford, Perth, Huron, and Waterloo counties, as well as some areas in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
For over 60 years, we've grown from a small group of producers into a leader in Southwestern Ontario, Canada’s dairy capital. As a member of the Ontario Milk Transport Association, we deliver top-quality milk with specialized equipment.
We’re more than just a company; we’re a community! With three independent companies under our umbrella, we've strategically acquired several smaller transporters, building strong partnerships with our neighbours and the Dairy Farmers of Ontario (DFO). - Milk Grading and Delivery: Measure, grade, and transport raw dairy milk, ensuring exceptional customer service and compliance with Dairy Farms of Ontario guidelines.
- Safety and Compliance: Safely operate vehicles and equipment, maintain cleanliness, and report any incidents.
- Adhere to a weekly/monthly driving schedule with the understanding that milk pick-ups occur 365 days a year.
- Share truck duties with two other drivers; routes subject to change, based on needs of the business.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Frequent lifting and lowering of hoses weighing 40-50 lbs.
- Climbing in and out of the truck and on top of trailers multiple times daily.
- Performing pre-trip inspections, including walking, bending, and lifting.
Qualifications:
- A valid AZ driver's license with a minimum of three years of driving experience.
- Strong driving record and adherence to traffic regulations.
- Experience in handling diverse driving conditions and vehicle types.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
