Sorter - Stratford

We are seeking a Sorter to join our client's Waste Management team in Stratford. This is a one-day assignment with the potential to remain on the list for future opportunities.  
 
What We Offer:  
  • Salary: $20/hour  
  • Job Type/Shift: Contract, 10 am to 4 pm  
  • Paid by Direct Deposit
 
What You'll Do:  
  • Assist with conducting a waste assessment with an on-site consultant. 
  • Open and identify recycling and waste materials (bags) based on the commodity stream (paper, plastic, metal, glass).
  • Record a weight value for the total of each bag or bulk material.
 
What We're Looking For:  
  • Must be able to lift large or bulky waste materials from bins up to 50 pounds. 
  • Able to work in all weather conditions outside.
  • Must already have CSA approved safety boots, hard hat, vest, and safety glasses.
