Responsibilities will include:

· Visually inspect skids for any possible pest contamination

· Clean skids using brushes, air wade or vacuum

· Re-piling skids as needed

· Dispose of any damaged bags into garbage bin

· Lifting up to 50lbs

· Required to wear N95 mask

· Working around forklifts

· Cut open small bags of kibble and dump into larger fibre bags

· Put garbage into bin

· Use of pallet jack

· Working around forklift

Qualifications:

· Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing/food environment as an asset

· Excellent communication skills in English

· Must be able to work independently and as a team

· Must have personal transportation to/from work

· Must be comfortable with stairs

· Must be reliable, able to do heavy lifting, and have problem solving skills

Job Notes:

· Candidates are NOT allowed to wear jewelry, loose clothing or buttons

· Finger nails must be clean (no nail polish)

· Must wear safety shoes, hair net, bump cap, ear plugs and safety glasses

· Beards longer than 1” require a beard net

Shift Details:

· Day Shift: 7:30AM – 3:30PM

o Monday – Friday

· Afternoon Shift: 3:30PM – 11:30PM

o Monday – Friday

Pay Rate: $18.00 /hr
