IS2 Workforce Solutions is recruiting experienced Senior CNC Machinist in Cambridge. This is a full-time opportunity that offer steady work, great training and advancement opportunities.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE?(but not limited to): 

• Setting up and CNC mills and lathes using Mastercam programs. 
• Verify dimensions and tolerances using precise measuring tools including calipers, gauges, micrometers that are both digital and manual. 
• Load and unload CNC machines with material. 
• Perform quality control procedures on finished parts and adjusting program as needed. 
• Adjusting G & M code commands. 
• Interpreting blueprints to determine machining operations. 
• Performing tooling changeovers. 
• Performing multiple change outs daily and weekly. 
• Performing routine maintenance including changing broken tools, TPM and sensor states. 
• Start up and shut down of machines
• Run 3-4 machines at a time
• Experience with Mastercam or Fanuc controls  
• Experience with mills/lathes (1 of each is manual) (generally only run on the aft/night shift)  
• 5 machines in a cell  
• Jig fixtures  
• May need to convert from metric to imperial  

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience (as a CNC Machinist) setting up and operating various CNC mills and lathes. 
• Must have experience working with 2 and 3 axis CNC machines. 
• Must be familiar with Fanuc controls. 
• Must have experience with Mastercam. 
• Must be able to modify programing. 
• Experience operating and monitoring up to 3 CNC machines in a cell. 
• Must have experience performing change outs from start to finish. 
• Must have steel toe shoes or boots. 
• Can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be looking for a long-term permanent position. 
• Must be able to work in a team environment, outgoing personality.
• Great time management
• Ability to run multiple (3-4) machines at once
• High attention to detail
• Experience with Heat Treated Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum a plus
• Overhead Crane and Forklift experience a plus
• Proficiency in manual measuring tools

Shift hours:

• 7:30am-5:00pm (Monday-Thursday)
• 7:30am-3:30pm or 4:00pm (Friday) 

Salary: $40+
